Long vowel 'i'- PRE PRIMARY

As Part of English Curriculum,  Long vowel 'i' words were recapitulated with an activity. Digraphs and Trigraphs like 'ie', 'y', 'igh', 'i_e' all have 'I' sounds. All the words were done in class and students were asked to make 4 Flashcards on which all 'ie', 'y', 'igh', 'i_e' were written. Different words were spoken to children and they showed suitable 'I' sound flashcard.

Basant Panchami (Celebration)

 Basant Panchami is one of the most popular spring festivals of India, celebrated across different parts of country with fun and fervour. The festival, celebrated on the fifth day of the month of Magh (between the months of January and February), marks the end of winter season and welcomes the arrival of spring season. 

The festival of Basant Panchami is associated with yellow colour, a colour of spirituality. The colour holds a special meaning for this celebration, as it signifies bright yellow sunshine, brilliance of nature and the vibrancy of life.

Students of Class Pre Primary wore yellow colour dresses to mark the importance of colour in Basant Panchami.

Children enjoyed their yellow colour meals especially, saffron halwa and saffron sweet rice. Celebration was followed with Story of Basant Panchami.
