Students of class pre primary performed Earth Day activity with bubble wrap painting. They learnt our Earth has 2 colours that is Blue and Green. Blue depicts Water and Green depicts Land. In bubble wrap painting we mix the above mentioned colours to make Earth. Students then written My Earth with sketch pen, and our activity ended with photographs and boomerang.
Class 1 students learnt 5 sense organs and their functions. For eg with eyes we see, with ears we hear, with nose we smell, with tongue we taste and with skin we feel.
For tasting, students were given salt, sour liquid (tamarind), bitter liquid (bitter gourd) and sweet water (sugar added). Students identified the taste.
For touch there were hard (moulds) and soft (pom pom) objects in pencil pouch. For hearing, they were given a shaker. For smell they were given an incense oil. For sight green is the example.
Learners know the concept of 5 senses in a fun way where they discovered the functions of sense organs and its importance.
