Today we celebrated Christmas where children were dressed in red, white or green dress to suffice the theme. They decorated their Christmas tree and attended the assembly of Class 1 based the same theme. They were taken the ground to cheer the races which were planned for world athletics day.
After they had their community lunch, which was being shared and was also given one of our p.eon. Christmas party was followed by Christmas stories and jingles.
National mathematics day is celebrated every year in India on December 22 to honour the memory of mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan.To mark the occasion Activities were organised in all the classes (PS to 8th). Our pre schoolers performed the Ten frame fun activities on 23rd December. They were given 2 ten frames where they represented numbers from 1-20 on them. They took their flash card, spoke the number written on a flash card and then represented the same number on ten frames.
As part of English curriculum, students of class pre primary learnt prepositions that is the place of an object. The concept was incorporated with the help of an activity, where students used their soft toys and followed the instructions. For example, place the object in front of you, on the table, under the table, next to you, between you and your partner and so on. Students enjoyed this concept in the form of game.
