Celebrating Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's 130th Birth Anniversary- Class 1

To mark the 130th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the students of class 1- had conversation on Babasaheb's life. They have been told few lines about him and then they answered the questions asked.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, an Indian jurist, politician, philosopher, anthropologist, historian and economist who was the principal architect of the Constitution of India.
Dr. Ambedkar was born on 14 April 1891.  He became a convert to Buddhism and is seen as a driving force in the surge of converts that saw many thousands of lower caste members become Buddhists.
 
Dr. Ambedkar died on 6 December 1956 and was posthumously awarded the 'Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in 1990.
