Letter sound /s/- Pre School

We use synthetic phonics method, which means that the letter sounds are taught first, on their own, and children are then taught to blend sounds together to say (‘synthesise’) the word.
Each sound is taught with an action, which helps children remember the letter(s) that represent it. So for letter sound /s/ they weave their hands, pretending to be the snake, saying sss.

A healthy body- class 1

Students of class 1 learnt the topic 'Exercise'. We discuss doing exercise and what happens to our bodies and they notice anything different:

• When you exercise, what happens to your body?

• In what ways does your body change?

• Do you feel different when you exercise? Is it a good feeling?

• How do people look different before, during and after exercise?

Learners record pre-exercise observations and engage in some vigorous exercise (such as skipping or running). After the exercise, they repeat the observations they took before exercise, and record their findings with support.

Interaction with kids during pandemic

The pandemic has brought about huge disruptions in normal life for humanity as a whole. Alongside health concerns, another things has risen, especially for parents, is whether the COVID- 19 pandemic socially affected their child. The pandemic has brought about a worldwide lockdown state, and children’s interactions with others have become limited to that of their immediate family, and any pets, if lucky.

But our children are still learning during this time, like to be involve in extra activities, dance, art work, etc. For that, a meeting was kept for a fun interaction.
