Our pre schoolers geared up for their journey to phonics. Three sounds from Group 1 was taken up for the activity. They were given three associated objects with sounds’ flash cards. Then they were asked to place the flash cards with corresponding pictures. For eg- They placed /s/ with snakes and ladders; /t/ with ten frame and /a/ sound with alligator. Phonics activity helped them to build their interest in learning sounds.
As part of English curriculum, students of pre primary performed the blending activity. They were given the [at and in] family words with a window where they can drag the isolating (initial) sound to make different words. Students loved this activity and found the blending interesting. This activity helped them to strengthen their blending skills. Many more activities will be conducted with different family words.
Students of class Pre school and Pre Primary performed an act on Soapy symphony where they told steps of Washing hands while saving water. They performed enthusiastically in front of the chairman sir, Cambridge coordinator and Parents. The act was praised by one and all. Have a glimpse of the same.
