Parts of a book- PP

Children were introduced to the front cover, back cover, title, author and illustrator. They observed different books, identified these parts and discussed how each one helps us understand and explore a book.
The activity encouraged children to develop book awareness, observation skills and early reading habits while making them familiar with the basic features of a book.

Dice and dot the turtle- EY1

Children rolled the dice, identified the number (1-5) and then placed the corresponding number of colourful pom-poms on the turtle’s shell. This hands-on activity helped children practise counting, number recognition, one-to-one correspondence and quantity representation.
